HANNAH MAE WOLFE

I'm a Los Angeles based composer with a passion for telling stories through music. 

As a biracial, third-generation musician raised in a diverse family of pianists, I've been shaped by a blend of cultures and musical traditions. 
 
Although born and raised in Los Angeles, I spent part of my childhood in Shanghai, China, where I studied classical piano and oboe performance. My classical music background continues to have a major influence on my work; I'm inspired by the blend of classical elements with modern synthesizers and electronic instruments.

I studied Music and Economics at Oberlin College & Conservatory, and developed fundamentals in film composition through courses with Berklee College of Music and UCLA, in addition to learning with composers Billy Sullivan and James L. Venable.
